This week on “REVOLT Black News Weekly,” we pull up to Coachella and talk about hip hop’s takeover of the major music festival. All music lovers know of the infamous annual event and this year’s was another one for the books. Aside it marking the return of Frank Ocean to the stage for the first time in years, attendees were also surprised by our very own REVOLT Chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs who performed “Creepin'” in Metro Boomin’s headlining set along with The Weeknd. Future also made a surprise appearance. Plus, we get into Netflix’s viral “Love Is Blind” reunion and all the technical difficulties that made the episode the talk of the internet — more than usual.
Inspired by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ successful “State Of Emergency: The State of Black America & Coronavirus” town hall, “REVOLT BLACK NEWS” is a platform that is designed to report news from the perspective of Black people for Black people.
“When I started REVOLT, I always wanted to develop a platform to report the news from our perspective, from our lens, from our people, so I decided to launch ’REVOLT BLACK NEWS,’” said Combs. “We’re here with solutions. We’ve already heard about what we can’t do, but this is what we can do.”
