Williams speaks to rapper and social justice activist Trae Tha Truth about the importance of voting, as well as formerly incarcerated felons’ right to do so being taken away. It turns out that a number of felons can actually still get their right to vote reinstated, but many don’t know. Even Trae, himself, recently found out that he could. The artist says that the U.S. government allows formerly incarcerated people to believe that they can’t vote because it knows that there’s strength in numbers. So, we must educate ourselves.
